This post is abouut the BBC 4 documentary, The Brits who Built the Modern World http://bobnational.net/record/201388
This documentary looks at the High Tech movement and its architect such as Norman Foster, Richard Rogers and Nicholas Grimshaw as well as the Post Modern architecture. The documentary was very interesting and expanded my knowledge on the movements, which was limited originally.
I think that the High Tech approach to structure could be used in my projects as I currently do not consider it very often as a design feature; for example I could use this in the design of my school in a way similar to the Lloyds building as this would allow for more internal space for the studios which are part of my brief.
